This Is my first blog I am new at this ...

  "You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul." Well I've been creating art since I was old enough to hold some brand new crayons for school and even before that sidewalk chalk.... I love color it seems to wake me up it makes me happy... I started on the road to art when my teachers encouraged me....art tells a story, it can tell the story of your life, it could tell the story of your future..... It can tell you of places that you've been.... or it could take you to places that are just fantasy or places that exist and that you want to go to.... when I'm creating something I get lost in my creation and it's wonderful..... I have tried every medium there is and I love them all.... I'm a true artist I love painting, sculpting, pen and ink, drawing, wood burning, clay creations, sculpting, making jewelry, making candles, even writing short stories and poems..... I create whatever I can whenever I can.....I seem to multitask a lot too .....I have five loves one is God another my son, another my man, another is tea and another of course is my art, put them all together and they fill me with love and happiness....I make one of a kind art pieces.....I feel each piece is part of me they fill the hole in my soul and are my legacy to the world.....I hope you enjoy my work....Kathay
